Consider Dental Implants

Consider Dental Implants If You Need to Get Your Teeth Fixed

If you’re looking for a way to get your teeth fixed, it might be time to consider dental implants. Dental implants are used in a variety of different ways. They can be used to replace missing teeth, or even be used to correct gaps between teeth.

The most common reason to consider dental implants is when a tooth has been lost due to injury or disease. Sometimes, an extraction will be needed to remove the tooth completely. In these cases, it is not possible to remove the root of the tooth. This can lead to a gap between the upper and lower portions of the tooth. A dental implant will replace the tooth root.

It can also be used when a tooth has been chipped or broken. When a tooth has this kind of defect, it can be difficult to be fixed with a crown or veneer. Implants are a better option because they can fix the problem without the need for removing a large portion of the tooth.

Often, a tooth can also be affected by an infection. This will result in the loss of a tooth. If the tooth is not able to be repaired properly, it may become very painful and may need to be removed.

Some people consider dental implants as a way to help them avoid visiting the dentist. When a tooth is missing, it may be painful to wear dentures. It can also be uncomfortable for a person to have a replacement tooth that doesn’t match up to the original one. Implants can take care of these problems. It is something that should be considered for everyone regardless of the situation.

When looking for dentists to perform dental implants, you need to be sure that they have the proper qualifications. The first thing that you should do is find out how long they have been practicing this type of procedure. You also want to make sure that they are a member of the American Dental Association.

It’s also important to find out how many people their clinic has treated with implants. It’s difficult to tell how many other people will be able to benefit from the procedure if you don’t find out this information. There are also factors that go into deciding whether a dentist should be considered for this procedure.

If there are any safety concerns about using implants, it’s best to try to find out what those are. You should be aware that they may result in some bruising or swelling and may be uncomfortable for a while. If this happens, you should report this to your dentist. If this problem isn’t severe, you should be fine with the implants.

What Your Dental Team Is Doing to Keep You Healthy

Dear Mayani Dental family:

The health and well-being of our patients is our top priority, now and always. In response to the coronavirus pandemic, we are closely following and adhering to precautions advised by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.

We want to assure you that we are taking continuous steps to ensure that our office remains a safe place for every patient. It’s important for you to know that dentists are experts in infection control. For instance, we have been trained to prevent the spread of infectious diseases such as flu, HIV, hepatitis, tuberculosis and all viral diseases. The precautions we take every day will also help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

We follow precautions developed by the CDC to protect both health care personnel and patients. We sterilize all instruments at 375°F after each use and clean each dental operatory after each patient visit, using surface disinfectants that kill all known infectious diseases, including coronavirus. We utilize dedicated hand wash and one-time use disposable materials which help maintain a safe environment for our patients. Our staff is regularly trained in these procedures.

Working with our facility managers, we’ve ensured that our cleaning team has a sufficient stock of supplies. We have asked them to apply additional focus and time on cleaning door handles, faucets, and other items with high-traffic hand touches. Magazines in our waiting areas are also a risk from frequent contact, so they have been removed.

Seeing your dentist is a vital investment for your general health. Our office remains open to care for our patients following the above guidelines. If you have a fever, are exhibiting symptoms of respiratory illness, or have had recent contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, you may be a risk to other patients or staff members. If you are experiencing fever (greater than 100.4), cough, or shortness of breath, please remain at home and contact your primary care physician immediately.
